Missing deposit?

Updated over 10 months ago

We understand how frustrating it can be when a deposit doesn’t appear immediately on your Galactix.io account. Most of the time, there’s no need to worry, but there are a few common reasons that could cause your deposit to be delayed. Here are the most frequent issues and how to resolve them:

Minimum Deposit Amount Not Met

Each cryptocurrency on Galactix.io has a minimum deposit amount. If you send an amount below the minimum, your funds won’t be credited to your account because we can’t process deposits under the required threshold.

To ensure your deposit is credited, make sure the amount, including any network fees, exceeds the minimum deposit amount. Always double-check the minimum deposit before confirming your transaction to avoid any issues.

Incorrect Deposit Address

Another common issue occurs when deposits are sent to the wrong address. Unfortunately, if funds are sent to an incorrect deposit address, they won’t appear in your account.

To avoid this, always make sure you’re depositing to the correct address, which can be found in the "Deposit" section for each currency and network. Always double-check the receiving address before confirming any transaction.

Network Delays

Sometimes, deposits can be delayed due to issues with the blockchain network itself. Blockchains often experience congestion when there is a high volume of transactions being processed. This is common with networks that operate under the Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism, such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). PoW requires miners to solve complex puzzles to confirm transactions and add them to the blockchain, which can cause delays, especially during periods of high network activity.

Network delays may range from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the network’s current load. Rest assured, such deposits will be processed as soon as the network clears.

Transaction Fee

Certain cryptocurrencies, especially those that use the Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanism, like Bitcoin (BTC), require a transaction fee. These fees compensate miners who confirm and secure transactions on the network. If your transaction fee is set too low, your transaction may take longer to be confirmed because miners prioritize transactions with higher fees.

To avoid delays, ensure that you select an adequate transaction fee when making your deposit. Higher fees may result in faster transaction confirmations, especially during times of network congestion.

Deposit Issues Due to Smart Contracts or Other Factors

If your deposit still doesn’t appear after checking everything, the issue may be due to a non-supported smart contract or another rare issue. In such cases, our system may not process the transaction automatically.

To resolve this, please contact our Live Support team and provide them with the following information:

  • Transaction hash (TxID): A unique identifier for your transaction.

  • Cryptocurrency you sent.

  • Network used for the transaction.

We recommend depositing from your personal wallet rather than directly from exchanges to avoid delays.

If you experience any issues with your deposit, don’t hesitate to contact our Live Support team. We’re available 24/7 and are always ready to assist with any deposit problems you may encounter 😊
